The Stock tab

The Stock tab is where you can find and manage your stock items.

Stock items are listed in increasing order of their use-by date. All items with the same use-by date are grouped together under a heading for that date. The last heading is "No use by date".

Within each group, items are listed in increasing order of their best-before date, should they have one. This is most useful for items without a use-by date.

If a stock item name is coloured red, it has passed its use-by date, and should be thrown away. If it is coloured orange, it has passed it best-before date, and should be used soon.

Each stock item has:

  • a name

  • a brand

  • a location

  • a photo

  • a note icon.

It might have:

  • a use-by date

  • a best-before date

  • action buttons.

In the Stock tab you can:

  • add a stock item

  • edit a stock item

  • search for a stock item

  • view a stock item photo

  • change a stock item photo

  • view and edit product and stock item notes

  • perform an action

  • delete a stock item.
